Fine pair of large late 19th century Indian bronze statues,c1890.They are impressive statues standing over 4ft tall and depict female deities or dancers. They are well cast, heavy with good detail and decoration. They have aged well with good colour/patina. Overall condition is good with minor surface wear / Verdigris and a couple of very small losses which have been highlighted in the photographs See the last 2 photos in particular). The two statues are slightly different in height as the tip of one headdress is missing.
