Fine antique 19th century Japanese bronze Bowl, c1870. The bowl has pierced foliage decoration and stands on 3 figural Monkey supports. The monkeys are individually cast and each is different. It is well cast, heavy for its size and has aged well with great colour/patina. There are character marks to the base. Overall condition is good with only very minor wear /rubbing in line with age and use.
