Description

Large antique Chinese bronze and cloisonné lidded censer, c 1870. This is a fine quality example with great casting and decoration. The enamel work is still bright and vibrant .The lid is topped with a lovely Fo Dog / Temple Lion finial and it stands on 3 Lion mask feet. The handles are beautifully stylised and decorated with enamel work. It has aged well with good colour/patina and overall condition is good with only minor surface wear / rubbing , all very much as you would expect from a piece of this age.
