A fine Regency "sentry" combination wardrobe.

The "sentry" ends have beautifully carved swan-neck pediments, having delightful carved bell-flower motifs. These are over Gothic arch panelled doors, having rich flame figuring to the mahogany.
The doors open to reveal a later fitted metal hanging rail. With slides and shoe storage box to the left wardrobe. To the right wardrobe are original brass hooks to the back, plus the later added metal hanging rail. Keys to each wardrobe.
The "sentry" boxes flank a large chest of mahogany lined drawers, having an arrangement of two short drawers, over five long graduating drawers, with a very attractive architectural style pedimented top. The flame figuring to each drawer is simply stunning. The height of the chest section is extremely practical as it isn`t too tall, so you can see in the top drawers very easily.
Original brass handles to the drawers, which are of excellent quality, very ornate and chunky.
Standing on flattened bun-feet, on a raised platform base, with ornate shaped apron to the chest section.
The wardrobe breaks down into six sections. Making it much easier to maneuver.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
In excellent antique condition. Expected minor signs of age and use.
