Description

This fine brass half tester bed is a really good quality example with a classic aesthetic design that dates it to around 1890. The bed is in super condition with all of the brassware being complete and in excellent order. The headboard has just been reupholstered in a mink chenille fabric that looks very smart and is comfortably padded. The headboard detaches easily from the frame and is a very simple recovery job should you favour a different fabric of your own choosing. The bed has its original black porcelain castors and metal base and side irons and it comes with a clean modern standard double mattress if you require it. The bed measures 240 cms high to the top of the finials at the head and is 140 cms high at the base. It is 140 cms wide by 210 cms long overall when fully assembled.

This is a most impressive bed that looks stunning in situ.
