Description

Regency three drawer chest of drawers, with fitted drawer and writing slide. Unusually it has a pen and ink well. The drawer has a runner mechanism so the drawer can come right out with out dropping. This Georgian chest of drawers has a flame mahogany top and the drawers are lined in oak - including the fronts of the drawers, which is unusual. The fronts are also in flame mahogany with boxwood and satinwood inlay and half round detail to the corners. This piece has lion mask handles and stands on fine splay feet. This piece comes with what looks like its original key.
