Castleforge Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1900s.
It has a flared cornice top above a cross banded frieze with satinwood banded edges above a central mirrored door with a door to either side both having two small inlaid panels to the top above two long panels with satinwood banded edges and original ornate brass escutcheons and knob handles. It stands on a deep plinth base. Internally there is full length hanging space to each end with the centre compartment having four sliding trays above three deep drawers all of which are oak lined with brass handles. The whole interior of the wardrobe is oak lined and of excellent quality.
Separates into five pieces for ease of transporting.
In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and original patination to the quality mahogany oozing the charm and character of the perod.
