Description

This is a stunning Japanese Meiji period Cloisonne vase with very pretty and a design that has an aesthetic styling. The vase dates from the aesthetic period circa 1890 and is in perfect condition with superb enamel workmanship. The birds are very realistically depicted in the tree branches which have a lovely soft blush to the leaves. The ground colour to the vase is this stunning deep blue which is speckled throughout gold which gives a quite magical stellar effect. The vase is very pretty and it measures 24 cms in height by 12 cms in diameter.
