1930's Arthur Simpson of Kendal Oak Single Bed

This is a beautifully hand made standard UK single oak bed by one of Britains leading maker of the time. Made by Arthur Simpson of Kendal in the early thirties. Complete with the makers circular black label which is inset to the underside of the bed. In excellent clean codnition and with the original iron sprung base, this Simpson oak bed features a hand carved head board and a plain oak foot board. A lovely piece, so original and ready to use.
