Superb Antique William 1v Mahogany Wardrobe Press on Chest C1820 Wdb370/24.1

This is a superb antique william 1v mahogany linen clothes press on chest and dating from aorund 1820. It has a cornice top with deep mahogany frieze above two panelled doors with original brass divider and to each side is a reeded column with ring supports. Internally there are five oak lined sliding trays (a hanging rail could easily be installed and the trays removed?) to the base there is a moulded top with two short drawers over two long graduating drawers all fo which are oak lined and with original knob handles. It is moulded to the base and stands on lovely turned legs.

The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the william 1v period.

Measures: 84" high X 23" deep X internal depth (top) 18" X 50" wide
