Description

This is a most attractive Art Nouveau style cast iron double bed with a delightful curved shape and pretty brass detail. The head and base have a classic whiplash styling dating it from around 1890. The brassware and floret details have a beautiful colour and good antique patina and the black cast metalware is all in excellent clean condition.

This has its original snug fitting side irons and original porcelain castors. It comes with a good upholstered base base so simply needs a standard double mattress. The headboard is in 150 cms in height, the base is 120 cms high and this measures 145 cms wide by 200 cms long overall.
