A particularly good example of an articulated bronze okimono of a crab .The modelling of this example is much more robust and better finished than most , the quality of the casting is excellent . All the limbs are articulated , the eyes also have movement , it is in perfect working condition and the colour excellent and it bears a good artist signature . Altogether a very good , attractive and amusing example of Meiji workmanship .

Measurements are with all limbs fully extended .

It weighs a substantial 752 grams .
