Description

This is a beautiful Victorian brass bed with very unusual ceramic details dating from around 1880. The bed has a distinct aesthetic style, classically from this period, with beautiful blue and white solid ceramic collars in the Callico pattern. The bed has its original side irons so has a good sound structure when assembled and it comes with a good timber latt base so simply requires a standard kingsize mattress. This is raised on its original large black porcelain castors and measures 158 cms high at the head 128 cms high at the base and is 210 cms long by 155 cms wide overall.
