JULES MOIGNIEZ: a charming BRONZE SCULPTURE of two songbirds beside a nest, feeding worms to their young. Signed to the integral bronze base. 6.75ins (17cms) wide.

***Jules Moigniez (1835-1894) was a French "animalier" sculptor, who frequently exhibited at the major Paris salons. He is best know for his bronze birds, of which this is a typically finely detailed example.
