Painted French 4ft Louis XV Bed

1900 - 1920
Description

This lovely French walnut Louis XV single bed is offered in very good condition.

The bed has been painted in a farrow and ball paint, they have been slightly shabbied and given a clear wax finish.

The bed comprises of a headboard with an ornately carved shell, swept shaping and internal mouldings.

The footboard has wonderful swept shape carved detailing to the top and base of the centre and stands on carved escargot legs.

The bed rails have been replaced with iron rails that have been painted in the same colour. The beds come with newly fitted substantial slats.

1400mm wide

860mm tall

The bed accommodates an 1900 mm 75 inches long x 1200 mm 48 inches wide mattress.
