Chinoiserie 2 Door Wardrobe

Description

Circa 1880, Georgian style Chinoiserie 2 door wardrobe. Painted and lacquered, with a moulded cornice and gilding with Chinese motifs to the 6 fielded panels in the 2 full length doors. The painted designs continue to the gables, and inside it has 2 shelves and 2 adjustable hanging rails. To the base are 2 full length drawers and it all stands on squat bracket feet with gilding to the fore-edge.
