Here we have for sale today this lovely Late Victorian Chaise Lounge, or Window Seat, or 2 Seat-er Couch.
Manufacture in about 1890.
All made in solid mahogany, with this lovely carved show frame-work, standing on cab-legs to the front, splayed back legs, and a well carved frame.
Padded back, with this scroll arm and padded seat. Recently re-upholstered in this pale gold textured velvet and trimmed in pale gold braid.
Having its original polish plus patina, its a rich mahogany colour (please see pictures)
This couch is solid in all its joints, with no breaks, no splits and no woodworm.
Please note that this item is in excellent condition, ready to use and requires no restoration.
