As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this high quality Meiji period 1868-1912 , circa 1910 Cloisonné enamel vase by the Ando Jubei Company , this striking square sectioned Solid Silver mounted vase has been decorated using traditional Cloisonné techniques and depicts a delightful array of native Flora to each of the four Silver wire framed panels, including pink Roses, water Lillie's as well as bright orange Chrysanthemums, the outer borders and shoulders have been decorated in very fine Silver wired stylised Floral detail, upon a deep blue enamel ground , more formal geometric green and white Mons are used to separate each panel, and are continued as the decoration for the borders above and below the steel grey Silver mounts , the interior of the vase heavily counter enamelled in a Blue finish , the underside signed in a Silver wired Mon for the Ando company, and the Silver base mount is hallmarked with a Jungin pure Silver mark , a stunning condition piece of Japanese Cloisonné enamel that is sure to make a worthy addition to your Cloisonné cabinet or Japanese works of art collection .
