Antique Victorian Carved Rosewood Window Seat Sofa

Description

A late 19th century, Victorian, rosewood window seat. The solid rosewood frame finely carved with central torch & quiver of arrows flanked by gadroon carved top rail, the outsteps arms carved with acanthus leaves, standing on turned fluted legs. Reupholstered. The old upholstery has been taken off, the webbing has been replaced, and the original stuffing and springs have been put back. This finely carved seat can be used at the end of a bed or in a window, and is in exceptional condition.
