Pleasing Early Victorian Brass and Iron King Size Bed

Description

Pleasingly simple early Victorian brass and iron king size bed with forged iron panel with small decorative forged details and brass decoration.an Made by Heals with makers plate on cross rail on foot board. The bed has been sympathetically restored with side rails lengthened and adapted to support wood slats and to suit modern king size mattress 150cm/200cm/5' x 6'6^. The frame has been shot blasted and primed prior hapaint finish in Little Green Paint company Jet Black with wax over and brass cleaned and aged.

Side rail height 37cm
