Desktop size iron study of the Egyptian mythical Sphinx from the pyramid and necropolis site at Giza . Well-detailed cast reduction of the monumental ancient limestone statue of the reclining Sphinx , the mythical creature with the body of a lion and head of a human .

Patinated and aged surface to the iron Sphinx . An aged and worn patination to the marble or limestone rectangular plinth base , some minor chips and discolouration.

Good classical and Egyptologist desktop decoration , evoking the power and majesty of the 2500 BC original.
