Large Pair of Oriental Bronze Vases

Description

An interesting and quite large pair of Oriental BRONZE VASES in good condition. Possibly Japanese (?) or maybe Burmese, each is of tapering hexagonal form, with side handles cast as stylised elephants heads.

To the back and front of both vases are large panels of cloisonne (inlay of coloured enamels) and the bases are cast with an as yet unresearched 'signature'.12ins 30.5cms) high. Priced for the pair...
