Antique Chinese Cloisonne Vase on Stand

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a good quality Chinese champleve cloisonné vase on stand dating from the early 20th century. The vase is a good shape with waisted tapering neck with gilt bandings and superb raised champleve enamel work with lotus flowers, stylised butterflies, scrolls and foliage. The interior and underside are in a dark blue enamel and the vase is raised on a good quality solid mahogany stand which has a beautiful golden colour. The vase measures 26 cms high overall, (22 cms without the stand) and is 14 cms in diameter.
