Description

A large Regency sofa circa 1825 firmly attributed to Gillows of Lancaster crisply carved on the top of the legs with acanthus and in great solid order for recovering on 4 fluted legs with large brass Copes Patent castors. The side panel inscribed probably by the upholsterer in ink on the hessian W Wheler Gloster (sic)

Size: 88 inches wide 28 inches deep 34 inches high. Seat ht 18.5 inches high
