An absolutely amazing fine gold mounted cloisonne vase by Ando . This double gourd shaped vase is quite astounding in quality and design , the wires , the mounts top and bottom , and mark are in fine gold , which tests as 23 ct. or more !! The enamel work is of the finest Ando quality , the shading and colour are exhibition quality , although we believe it was possibly a commissioned vase . We have searched all available sources to find any further solid gold mounted cloisonne vases , without success .

A simply stunning vase in perfect condition .

Bears Ando mark and Japanese gold mark.
