Outstanding 19th C. Brass Double Bed (4 Ft 6")

Description

An outstanding high quality all brass bed from the later part of the 19th century, having the rare detail of a break fronted foot-end with brass spindle decoration. The posts with heavy reeded decoration and finishing in over sized reeded bed knobs. Retaining the original porcelain castors. Superb original condition throughout. English, circa 1880.

This bed comes complete with a slatted base and takes a standard UK double mattress.
