Large Japanese Bronze Onlaid Mixed Metal Flying Geese Vase

Description

As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality heavy Japanese Meiji period ( 1868 - 1912) bronze & mixed metal vase, the vase is simple in design with a pair of onlaid Shibuichi and gold geese coming in to land on a lake ,being lit up by the silver inlaid moon above , the water and cloud details picked out in a low relief bronze, this great vase is signed to the underside in a gold two character signature that we believe may read Chikayoshi .

The vase is in lovely undamaged condition throughout !
