Very Rare White and Brass Edwardian Bed

1900 - 1920

Description

Very rare and individual white and brass Edwardian bed with red phenolic resin details. AS well as the phenolic resin details this bed also has interesting shaped bed knobs and a lovely central brass foliate detail. All original. We have carefully restored by shot blasting the iron frame and priming prior to hand finishing in little Greene paint company Loft White and sealing with wax. WE have lightly cleaned the brass to maintain the pleasing aged patina. Standard double mattress size 135cm x 190cm/4'6" x 6'3"

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" platform top mini box base for £195.These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses.
