Spectacular Edwardian Waring & Gillows Figured Flamed Mahogany Antique Double Wardrobe

Constructed by the renowned cabinet makers Waring & Gillows and dates from around 1900, this antique wardrobe is truly stunning. It has a moulded cornice with decorative Grecian mouldings above two full length doors with the most striking figured panels, moulded edges and the original decorative brass handles. Each interior has a shelf with hanging rail and hooks and the right hand door has a mirror. This wonderful wardrobe has been carefully adapted so now can split into four sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
