Edwardian Antique Cast Iron Cat by Nestor.

This English antique cast iron cat, dates from around 1900, made and stamped by Nestor and with a registered patent number. This antique lucky black cat has original glass eyes and a hand painted bow tie. Originally used decoratively in fireplaces to ward off evil spirits. Could also be used as a door stop. In excellent condition, very well cast and all original.
