Condition Report:
This sofa is in good condition. The frame, back and legs of this couch are completely original. Nominal old use marks to the rosewood frame, but nothing significant, considering the age of this item. Importantly, the back rail and arms are firm and there is no play in the joints. The sofa has been newly upholstered in beautiful pale gold & ivory structured silk brocade, and finished with ivory braiding. The upholstery and braiding is therefore clean and free of marks, dirt or tears. The springs in the seat are firm, but it is comfortable to sit on. The sofa retains its original brass mug castors. The sofa is solid in joint and ready to use.
