This is a superb c18th style French serpentine commode chest of drawers, made in solid cherry wood and with very detailed gilt metal handles and escutcheons.
Although this is the c18th style, this is a later piece, late c19th or turn of the century.
Very good quality and fantastic warm cherry tones with wonderful grain and being serpentine, it makes for a great piece of decorative French country furniture.
