Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
All have beautiful oval figured mahogany inlaid sections with the original decorative brass handles and key with working lock. The right hand interior has a removable shelf above a brass hanging rail with hooks and an internal mirror on the inside of the door. The left hand interior has three removable shelves above four drawers and the piece as a whole stands on shaped bracket feet. This stunning antique splits into four sections for easy removal and the mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
