Original high quality French art deco sculptural group of a girl holding a rose, with pheasant, by Menneville c1920-30.

Hand painted dress with gold embellishments. Fine quality ivorine head and hands.

Engraved "MENNEVILLE" on top right hand corner of portoro marble plinth, inset with green onyx details as central strips and corners.

The quality of the plinth suggests that this piece would have been at the higher end of the range of figures produced by Menneville in the 1920-30s.

Width: 62cm/ 25"

Condition: Very good original condition. Some light wear to figures and light cracking to hands.
