Country House Buttoned Sofa with Mahogany Frame

Description

This good quality sofa came from a large country house in East Yorkshire. It is upholstered in gold brocade. The fabric is attractive and the sofa could be used in its present condition but there are signs of wear and tear. It would be splendid when reupholstered. Most importantly the springs and interior upholstery are in excellent order so reupholstery should be a simple top covering.
