Pretty Victorian Cast Iron Double Bed Painted Ivory

Description

This is a very pretty Victorian cast iron bed which dates from around 1860. The bed is probably French and has a beautifully simple curvaceous design and solid brass bed knobs. It has a bespoke made modern base which fits the bed perfectly. There is also a good quality clean Comfilux Orthopaedic standard double mattress should you require it.

The bed measures 42 inches high at the head, 38 at the base, 54 inches wide and 82 inches long.

It is in excellent condition throughout.

UK delivery is £50 plus VAT or you are most welcome to collect.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
