A fine and decorative Victorian toleware coal box or scuttle. The box is rococo is shape and especially the handles. The metalwork is painted black and has been handpainted with flowers and gilding. The box retains it''s liner and is in good condition is does have some knocks and paintloss as would be expected. The whole has a wonderful period look and great country house feel.
