Very good proportioned original Georgian mahogany Chest on Chest with original ''brushing slide'' circa 1820
This is not a typically large chest on chest, measuring Width 110cm - Height 182cm - Depth 55cm so it isn''t over powering and with the chamfered sides, beading and decorative cornice, it''s a great piece of furniture and has some lovely mahogany grain to the drawer fronts and sides
Great storage and works well as an everyday chest of drawers, 2 short drawers over 3 in the upper section and below you have the brushing slide with 3 further full width drawers below
The chest splits into two pieces for ease of moving / delivering
