Very Nice Late 18th Century Solid Oak Tavern Bench Circa 1780

Description

Very nice 1780 oak tavern bench with mahogany cross banding surrounding the fielded panels, extremely strong and sturdy with original pegged and dowelled construction, original velvet seat pad, with a very unusual panelled and strapped seating base. Overall in very good antique condition with normal signs of use....the corners of the back and the centre leg do show signs of wear but this item is over 200 years old - please see pictures.
