Victorian C1860 leather button backed chesterfield sofa. A wonderful quality period piece. A very rare find.

Solid and strong, with no loose joints. Full of age, character and charm. The sofa appears to have been reupholstered in a quality brown hide around 30 to 40 years ago and has a fantastic age and patina. All of the springs and wadding are in good order. Great turned legs with period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect, rear are period replacements)

Would look great in the right location! No woodworm.

Overall maximum dimensions: 215cm long, 90cm deep, 65cm high (35cm high seat when sat on). Seat width between arms 152cm.
