Rare and large Antique 19th century Chinese bronze statue of a man astride a toad, c 1890. This is a heavy and good quality casting and the detailing to the decoration is brilliant. The toad is surrounded by Chinese coins ,probably symbolising prosperity and the toad has red glass eyes. It has aged well with good colour/patina and overall condition is good.
