Limited Editions has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
There is a well shaped brass handle. A little earlier than most this example, could even be a Georgian one.
Holds water but have not tried boiling with it. Its dead cheap for what it is, can do P & P for about £10 or collect if you prefer.
