2 Seater Whytock & Reid Sofa

1940 - 1960
Description

Circa 1950's, 2 seater sofa by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. The sofa the original upholstery and loose covers. With upholstered arms and panelled back upholstery, it has a deep apron to the front beside the leg and a deep gully. The classic squat square tapering legs at the front finish are on a brass bezel, brass castor and taper out slightly towards the back. There is close brass studding around the castors on the front and back legs. The front legs are mahogany and the back legs are stained beech. An excellent example of Whytock & Reid seating.
