19th Century Large Antique Sofa by Howard & Sons .

A super quality English country house antique sofa / settee by Howard and Sons, London. Currently upholstered in calico underneath the later top fabric, this antique Howard sofa stands on square tapering legs which finish in the original brass castors which are stamped by the maker, Howard and Sons. One of the back legs is also stamped with the Howard serial numbers. In very good, intact condition, a lovely, simply designed antique Howard sofa that will not date. Super quality. Circa: 1870.
