A very attractive solid oak late 17th early 18th century chest of drawers.
Having a very charming and unusual drawer configuration.
All are of the same depth/height.
The solid oak chest has a moulded top edge, with a very attractive projecting, over hanging moulded front. The base of the chest stands on a deep protruding front, which is also a lovely feature of this unusual chest.
Solid oak sturdy drawers opening on base runners.
With historically re-placed super quality large brass drop handles, which are similar in age to the chest.
The chest has a developed the most wonderful colour and patina, very warm and tactile.
Standing on the original bracket shaped feet.
The condition overall is excellent original antique condition, with general expected signs of use consistent with age. Some minor historical repairs.
