The headboard and footboard are constructed from good quality pieces of oak veneer; the medulla rays in the timber are superbly pronounced. The headboard and footboard are connected (via bolts) to the original metal sprung camber-folding unit, which retain the original central pins. The bed also boasts the original hessian and cotton protector, which is used to place on the underside of the mattress and on top of the sprung unit, in order to protect the bottom of the mattress from the metal frame. The footboard mirrors the design of the headboard; it also incorporates stunning oak medulla rays, which are visible in the oak grain. The footboard terminates on a geometric stepped plinth on bracket feet, incorporating the original brass castors. The bed dismantles into three sections for easy transport and access into your house. This piece boasts classic art deco styling in the overall design of the curved corners, clean lines to top and the choice of materials.

In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
