French Walnut Bed

1900 - 1920
Description

This lovely French walnut bed in the Louis XV style is offered in very good condition.

The bed has a swept headboard with a quartered veneered panel in a shaped carved walnut frame and an ornate carved shell.

The footboard also has lovely shape and a quartered veneer panel, the internal panel has been upholstered in an oatmeal coloured fabric.

The base of the footboard and the side rails have floral carving to them.

The bed comes with a newly fitted set of substantial slats.

1620 mm tall x 1530 mm wide

Footboard

930 mm tall x 1540 mm wide

Overall length 2040 mm

Internal dimensions 1400 mm wide x 1900 mm long( standard double).
