Description

A most elegant Regency sofa dating from around 1810. The sofa is in close nailed buttoned olive / mustard leather hide which has a lovely antique appearance. (Some slight staining to left scroll arm, as photographed, probably from the old vino..) This quality piece is attractively inlaid with brass throughout the frame which is structurally sound and robust with no damage or restoration. The stout reeded legs are fitted with their original brass castors.

The sofa measures 76 cms high 220 cms wide and 58 cms deep overall. The seat is 43 cms high and the seating area measures 53 cms in depth and 153 cms wide between the arms.
