Very Individual Early Victorian Iron and Brass Low End Double Bed

Description

Very individual early iron and brass Victorian low end bed. Hand finished in distinctive Farrow and Ball Hague blue which beautifully defines the lovely detail in the decorative castings.

Very solid and sturdy construction with side rails strengthened and adapted to support wood slats.

This style of bed is ideal for tall sleepers; smaller rooms and rooms with views.

Head height 140cm

Foot and side rail height 36cm

Overall length 194cm

Price includes wood slats; sorry not mattress.

As an alternative to wood slats we can supply mini box bases as well as hand made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please see base and mattress section of our own web site or contact us for details.

Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.

We offer on site B & B facilities if you are travelling a distance to view.
