Here is an excellent quality Edwardian compactum wardrobe, giving a vast amount of storage space.
c1900.
This elegant wardrobe is a wonderful curvy serpentine shape. Made of highly figured mahogany.

The wardrobe has two sections. The left section has two doors opening to reveal a large hanging space with shelf above, having a metal hanging rail and brass hooks to the back. This section also has an internal mirror to the right door. The second section has a single door which opens to reveal four wooden linen slides which are over three deep drawers having very attractive original brass handles.

The wardrobe is entirely made of mahogany and is very strong, solid and robust and just feels of excellent quality, when opening drawers etc.
Standing on an ogee shaped plinth base.
Having all the original locks, door catches, wooden turned handles, and escutcheons. No keys.

The condition is very good antique condition, with minor expected general signs of age and use. A couple of very minor light surface scratches. Lovely rich, glowing colour to the mahogany, with the original finish.

The wardrobe completely dismantles into six sections, so will fit up awkward small corners easily.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
